Imagine Usain Bolt about to run the 100 meter dash for the Olympic Gold medal.
But rather than hear the gunshot, he hears a metal clang behind him.
He looks back, and there's a hungry lion in the cage. Then the cage door swings open.
Think he'll run faster? I definitely would.
Sometimes, to keep you motivated to stick to the process toward your "gold medal", you need to introduce a hungry lion.
Here's a personal example that I've used in the past: get an accountability buddy, and pay them $5 if you don't do what you say you'll do, for every day you don't do it.
This might not work for everyone. It's up to you do find out what your "hungry lion" is, but once you find it, it can be a powerful tool to help you stick to your process and hit your goals.
P.S. I recently watched The Magic Prank Show on Netflix all in one sitting. Absolutely hilarious (and mind-blowing).
